Annual club picnic is Tuesday, August 12
Okay food lovers, it's time to start thinking about one of the Loveland Fishing Club's favorite social events - the annual club picnic.

This year's picnic will be at the covered picnic area at Old Fairground Park on Tuesday, August 12.  The event is free for club members and spouse or significant other.  There'll be a charge, yet to be determined, for additional guests.
Steak, chicken, some of Tom and Sheila Miller's home-grown corn and other good things will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m., but you're welcome to come from 3:30 on. Bring your own knife and fork -- and your favorite dessert, hot dish or salad, enough to serve five people.

If you're last name begins with;
                                A-G, please bring a hot dish;
                                H-O, a salad;
                                P-Z, dessert.

The club will provide the rest. Click here for directions to the park.  (You may have to enter from the south because of flood-related road conditions.  We'll be under the group pavilion.

Tom Boesch has once again taken overall responsibility for the event, so thank him when you get the chance.  John Gwinnup will round up folks to help with the grilling, and George Kral will be passing around a signup sheet so we know how much food will be needed.

The annual picnic is in lieu of the regular monthly meeting in August; it's a week early this year to avoid conflict with the club outing to Chambers Lake.
