Elkhorn Fly Shop, long-time friend of the club, is closing its Loveland site

The shop will close in July but plans to continue to offer guided trips and offer its Elkhorn Fly Rods by way of its website. A Customer Appreciation Sale began Friday, May 24. We wish the owners best of luck for future success.

We want to share an update with our incredible and loyal customers about the upcoming changes to Elkhorn Fly Shop’s business operations. We are proud to have been part of the legacy Elkhorn Fly Rods, which have had a long history of being a fantastic product offered for a reasonable price, rooted here in the community of Loveland, Colorado.

While this decision did not come easily, we wanted to let you know our biggest change, and what you can still expect from us at Elkhorn. As of July 2024, we will be closing our Fly Shop location in Loveland, CO. This decision weighs heavily on our hearts, as we have been extremely fortunate to have strong local support from all of our avid fly fishing and fly tying customers, and we will miss seeing everyone each day.

However, we would like to share with you that we are not completely going away. While our physical location will be closing, we will still be able to offer some products and services online. We will no longer continue to offer our full range of products, but will still offer our Elkhorn Fly Rods via our website. Our warranty process will also only be available online moving forward, meaning that this will require rods in need of repair to be shipped to us.

Additionally, we will continue to offer our guided trips through our online request and booking process.

To celebrate our successful years in Loveland and to thank all of our loyal local and

online customers, we will be having a Customer Appreciation Sale beginning Friday

May 24th. So come on into the shop or go to our website to take advantage of the sale. Most items will be 40% off.

Information collected from the community will help guide future management of the new open space by helping understand the public’s desired nature-based land and water recreation experiences at CHOS while protecting and enhancing ecological resources.

The public open house will be held Wednesday, May 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Natural Resources Administrative Office, 1800 S. CR 31, Loveland. The open house will offer community members the opportunity to meet planning staff and learn more about the future open space.
