Boat Day, that Loveland Fishing Club tradition that pairs owners of fishing boats with club members who want to fish from one, will be held from 7:30 to noon on Thursday, May 16.
Initial signups were conducted at Tuesday's general meeting, but if you're interested contact Club President Dan Barker, the guy who's always telling us how many fish get caught out of his boat. To signup or if you have questions, contact Captain Dan.
Fishing is followed by a potluck at the state park beach house. The club provides some protein, Dan says, and "everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass, and whatever you want to drink." Dan will also bring cold water.
This is providing to be a great occasion to get together with friends and make some new ones.
